Being shortlisted twice at the European Paid Media Awards with the results we’ve been achieving with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and the Independent Monitoring Boards (IMB), is a welcome recognition of the impact we deliver to our clients.
For us at Arke Agency, these nominations reflect the kind of work we care most about: strategic, data-driven campaigns that connect brand and performance to deliver meaningful results. As an independent agency founded in Brighton in 2017, Arke works across paid media, creative, SEO, organic social and more to help clients achieve long-term business growth.
We are proud to work with organisations across fourteen different industries, including education, entertainment, travel, e-commerce and the nonprofit sector, combining clear strategy, bold creative thinking and actionable insights to move brand and performance forward.
The shortlisted work
Charity Not-for-Profit Campaign of the Year
Arke x Independent Monitoring Boards (IMB) – Supporting local volunteer recruitment
This nomination recognises a campaign focused on increasing volunteer applications for the Independent Monitoring Boards, nonprofit independent scrutiny bodies made up of volunteers who monitor prisons and immigration detention facilities and help promote fair and humane treatment while improving efficiency and maintaining cost-per-acquisition benchmarks.
To achieve this, we developed a precisely targeted multi-channel recruitment strategy across Meta and Google. The campaign combined audience research, localised keyword targeting and testimonial-led creative to reach people most likely to engage with the role and its wider social impact.
By continuously testing, refining, and retargeting throughout the campaign, we improved recruitment efficiency with a 548% increase in volunteer applications YoY.

Best Integrated Paid Media Campaign
Arke x London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA)
Our second shortlist recognises a full-funnel paid media campaign designed to increase awareness and applications for LAMDA’s higher education and short courses across the UK and key international markets.
The strategy spanned a multi-channel approach, combining audience segmentation, strategic keyword targeting and data-led budget allocation to drive qualified traffic to course landing pages. Alongside this, bespoke measurement and bidding strategies helped maintain efficiency and visibility despite attribution and tracking challenges.
The campaign delivered 129% increase in application clicks, 93.4% YoY growth, and a 246% ROI, helping increase engagement and support application growth across LAMDA’s course portfolio.

What this shortlist means to Arke
Being shortlisted is the validation of the work we craft for each of our clients. It is a reflection of the effective strategic lens through which our team approaches each challenge, the care our team brings to every stage of delivery, and the value of integrating brand and performance thinking rather than treating them as separate disciplines.
It also matters because these campaigns were built around clear outcomes. In both cases, the work required thoughtful strategy, close collaboration and continuous optimisation to make budgets work harder and keep performance aligned to wider objectives.

Alex Watson, Arke’s Managing Director says:
“We’re incredibly proud to see this work shortlisted. Both campaigns reflect the value of combining strategic planning, strong creative and data-led optimisation to deliver results that matter.”
“The European Paid Media Awards are an important opportunity to celebrate work that is both creative and commercially effective. The entry process gave us the chance to reflect on the strategic thinking, channel integration and measurable outcomes behind each campaign, and to recognise the work that went into delivering them.”
“As an independent agency, being shortlisted is a welcome acknowledgement of the collaboration behind the results, from client partnerships through to campaign planning, creative development, optimisation and reporting.”
